Snow Day and Christmas Tree Shopping

Before I was a Mother I really did not like the Holiday time at all. I basically saw it as a time where I could get off of work and take a long vacation. When I had my awakening I also figured out that Christmas was based on a pagan holiday called "Saturnalia" and not when historically Yeshua Bin Josef was born. Therefore, after that I really lost the feeling of Christmas. My love for Yeshua is strong and even though I don't like the untruth of Christmas my feeling for it changed the year I was pregnant. Now that I know the truth I can stand in this and dance to the pagan holiday of Saturnalia, because what is most important is what I share during these times with my family and friends. Now I just love any reason to celebrate, be merry and jolly for the sake of family and community.
I always loved having a real tree in our house. There is something really special about having a tree in your house.
So just like last year, we got a tree for our home.

The Snow was just gorgeous . My daughter was telling me she was seeing winter fairies in the trees.
I just love the smell of these trees! This is in Nyack, NY

Little A was so excited about getting a "Chwishmas Tree".

I love to see her happy.

The star holding the star.

So today we just put the tree up, let it settle into it's new environment. Tomorrow we decorate. I look forward to sharing with you our tree.

Love, Val

Conscious Holiday Gift Ideas for Him

Follow my blog with Bloglovin
So many list going around to give people ideas what to get for other's. Well, here is my inspired Holiday Gift Idea list, and it's a conscious one.

1. Gift Certificate to high-end Barber - Even men love to be pampered, so I suggest you find a multi-serviced barber shop or your guy's favorite and get him a gift certificate to a cut, shave, manicure, and massage. If your local barber doesn't have all these options get him a voucher for a bunch of shaves. Make sure you support your local barber who uses good quality soaps and creams. Your man's skin is sensitive too. This can cost around $100-$500.

2. The Portrait - This is just as old fashioned as the barber shop idea, but I love it. What is great about this idea is that this gift becomes an heirloom to the family. You can do it two ways with the artist, you can give the artist a photo or you can have your guy sit-in for it with the artist. I suppose if you have him sit-in to pose for the artist you would have to give your man a little note saying "I got you a Portrait with Artist 'So-in-So'!". The portrait above is of my brother which is painted by my Aunt Rosalia who is an amazing artist, you can find her at  RosaliArt.com. This can cost around $1000.

3. A Glimmering Engraved Sapphire Ring - So, not every man likes jewelry, but a lot do wear wedding rings. This could be replaced with a necklace or a bracelet. Every man has a period of time that they are going through hard times according to Vedic Astrology. In the Indian culture, when you wear a stone or sapphire in honor of your planets that are suffering you can diminish the influence of the planets. You should first find a reputable astrologer. You can also look here; http://www.galacticcenter.org  and then when you are ready you can find a fine artisan to create your piece, and here is one on Etsy.  The other thing is, that you can also just get him a yellow sapphire ring which this stone symbolizes Jupiter and it empowers family. If you are local in the Tri-State Area I recommend Jay Carlin, a master engraver and jeweler. This could cost anywhere around $100-$3,000.

4.
Hard-Working Natural Facial Care - Waleda thinks that hard working men need facial care and so do I. Winters are harsh and our skin needs moisture, so why not get this for the man you love. I love Waleda products because the ingredients are all grown on a private organic local farm in Europe. Some of their products are miraculous. Just ask my father! This will cost around $20-$60.

5. Ride the Bicycle - This is a great idea if he is into fitness or not. This will help him stay fit and connect with the outdoors. It might even inspire him to get healthy all together, clean his diet, do yoga, lift weights, go running. Even in tight spaces you can find a spot for your bike. I love this idea also, because not only is it good for him, but it's good for the environment too! Above is a Devinci Bikes and here is where you can find them locally.  This could cost anywhere around $7,000-8,000 but you could always go with a less expensive bicycle.

6. Better Sleep in a Dream Leaf - Yes, you could get him better sleep. I found this product randomly and ever since I have been fascinated with it. This is a wave of conscious products on the market. This product naturally lengthens your REM sleep. It increases serotonin early in the night, causing a “REM rebound” later in your sleep cycle.  This is known to cause incredibly vivid, lucid dreams. Also, the neurotransmitter ACh later in the night, causing increased awareness and dream consciousness. It can dramatically increase dream recall, making it much easier to remember your dreams when you wake up.  It also promotes a healthy sleep cycle to help you feel rested in the morning.  To read more and purchase click on this link;  luciddreamleaf. This product is on sale for $34.

7. Warm feet in Snow boots - Why wouldn't you get him a new pair of Snow Boots. In the winter time it's good to have a few good pair floating around. I like to buy good quality boots and that usually involves leather. That is one thing I have a hard time finding, that long lasting shoes with comfort usually are made of animal skins unfortunately. The other option is to get him rubber boots. Whatever it is, make sure the are good quality so that his feet don't get wet and cold. This can cost around $70-$300.

8. Meditation Cushion for hOMe- Last year I gave my partner a sheeps skin rug, (which I am against) but that is what you meditate on when you practice Kriya yoga. Not every guy meditates, but you should tell your guy that Steve Jobs meditated to receive downloads of information and that is how he got the idea to create his products! If that doesn't push them to meditate then I don't know what will. As most people know that meditation is the equivalent of a week's worth of sleep. So encourage this guy to meditate, and give him the tool to make it easy. I like this Meditation Pillow because it's vegan friendly, and it's very comfortable. This product is on sale for $195.

9. Don't forget to Bringr- Every guy wants their electronics for the holiday. So, I have been a bit shy about announcing this *New product that my fiance' is working on. This is the most innovative idea out in the market to date which will change the way we function. Bringr is a technology set of which allows you to remember to bring your things before you drive away and helps you find your items if they are misplaced or lost. It's slick, it's unique and it works. Check out Bringr.com . What is excellent about this it saves a lot of time and headaches. It makes you feel that your stuff is safe, because it could never get lost. This product costs about $59.

10. Everyone loves iRing - This product is new to the market, our friend has just launched it on QVC and you can find iRings, on this link-  QVC. This product is one that you can't live without. I just love it. It's an attachment to your smart phone that allows you to hold, carry, and place the phone with ease with the ring attachment. I like this product especially because it allows you to not hold the phone, but rather hold it on the ring and this way you don't have to constantly get the negative waves from the wifi, ect.  Just watch the video on QVC. This product is on sale for $20.

Good luck with the gift finding, I hope to have inspired you somehow.
Happy Holidays! Love, Val

Tree Hugging and Loving

Today was absolutely gorgeous. Today is my Father's Birthday, so from what I can remember this may be one of the warmest birthday's he's every had in the New York area. Anyway, I decided to take little A out around the house and today she had a strong pull towards this beautiful tree.

^^ Anastasia connecting to the tree ^^

She was then playing with this tree, tickling it's leaves

She didn't forget about her turtle, who she calls "Arianna".

The air was so warm and crisp, I was loving it too!

So much fun to play with leaves, especially this beautiful!

Of course,  Stasi wanted to be in my arms the rest of the time.

Teaching Stasi the magic of the trees.

  She was surely paying attention

Hope you had a beautiful Spring/Fall day today.. :)

Love,

Val

Spook Rock - The Most Important Native Indian Landmark Remaining in NY

Today I decided to go on a spiritual adventure to go see in person this mystical rock. I can sense high energy/ holy energy from a distance. I had a soul calling to go here and to start this Native American Indian journey with a Spook Rock.

I had a calling towards Native Indian American's since this summer. I along with my soul brother, Ken Chi who was visiting New York , we both decided to have an energy transmission session at my home in West Nyack, NY on our lawn by majestic trees and just below an ancient creek running 30 ft below our feet. That day we decided to dedicate the event to a charity and the first charity that came to me was the "Nyack Indians" Reservation Charity. Ken and I later found out that the charity seemed discontinued and closed for business. Therefore, we decided to dedicate it to a Water Charity. Even though, we had changed the charity we had the spirits of the natives all around us while we were having the session with the participants laying on the earth on comfy blankets while inadvertently connecting to these ancient beings. During that session I received a download of which has stayed with me in regards to the Indians of New York.

This image is a photo of where Ken Chi and I had the session.

Pulling up to now the new shopping center called "Indian Rock Shopping Center" and driving closer to the rock I could feel the tingles in my hand, which was a confirmation that indeed this place was sacred.

Before it was a shopping center in 1996, it was an Boulder Farming Estate that was owned by Otis. H. Cutler, described by Evan T. Pritchard "It is a large rock sitting on top of other rocks, about fifteen feet above the street, perched on a high embankment that once afforded a clear view of the sloping mountain below. I could see that the two streets below had been trails, and that this was once a great crossroads."

According to Julian Harris Salomon, it is perhaps the most important authentic Indian landmark remaining in the entire New York metropolitan area. It was once on top of a high mound.

The Dutch would call it "Spuke Rock" or "Rock of Spirit", or "The Breath of Life".  The Natives would consider this spot holy, a shrine. Old accounts tell us it was "an abode of the spirit force, which for them was to be found in plants, trees, animals, and in all manifestations of nature."

From what I felt first hand was that the rock lies upon a vortex in connection to the spirit of Gaia, Earth and the land keepers of this area on Earth, the Native American Indian people.

Before I decided to go into the cave I was touching the outside of the rock. This 17,300 ton Proterozoic granite gneiss is .8-1.2 billion years old. I could feel the rock going through my bones.  The rock never warm and always being cold.  This glacial erratic was deposited here by the Laurentide Ice Sheet approximately 21,000 years ago.
Okay, so we decided to go into the cave of the rock. I was with my daughter and my fiance' and we all went in together.  It's a long narrow cave with enough head room for a person below 6'1". I immediately feel waves of energy come through me from my feet to my chest.

I close my eyes and I start to hum. The humming then leads to my feet shuffling amongst the dirt within the rocks cave. I could hear my daughter getting upset but, I wanted to let the high frequency energy take me as I knew I was there to learn something.

Shuffle, shuffle, shuffle, were my feet moving as they never have before. I could smell the dirt and I could feel the ancients surrounding the rock. I felt a deep connection of gratitude for my attendance as they have been waiting for me. After my understanding of the strong wiff of the dirt, I decided to open my eyes and I could see what was happening. I was dancing like a Native. My feet were dancing on their own, my mind had nothing to do with it and I could feel the purpose of this dance.

The whole point of the Indian's dance is to connect to Earth. As you shuffle your feet you are to let the dirt come up and remember where you come from, what gives you life, and be in harmony with the land that give you all that you need.

I had a hard time breathing in the cave. I felt like my chest was very compressed and I was coughing a bit. I walked out of the cave after 10 min of being in there. This morning I woke up with anxiety, from what was going on this past week and I was holding this energetically in my chest. I experienced the Natives, the Rock, Gaia, clear this anxiety in the cave. I didn't know what was happening then, but I am sitting writing this with no anxiety and I feel amazing. Spook Rock is indeed also a sacred healing place of which those who believe or even those who don't believe should go to experience this blessed spot given to us by our beloved Gaia.

My journey has embarked here, and I am allowing for the next exploration to call out to me.

Although I will be back soon to this sacred spot.

For those who are interested in joining me on this Native American Spiritual Quest in New York State, please send a message to valsecrets@gmail.com

Playdates with Cuzzies and Mini Haircuts

I drove my daughter to New Jersey today to see her Nonna, Zia and cousin who is only 6 months younger than Anastasia. She loves going to her Nonni's house. We drive about 50 min give or take all the way down the Garden State Parkway just to share some loving moments with family. We then shot over to Jack & Jill Hair Salon for Kids in Cranford, NJ to get Anastasia's her cut before we get our holiday family photos done this weekend.

The final result!

We quickly scoot back to Nonna's house as the family awaits us.

They decide to have a Tea Party!

* Kisses *

Two peas in a pod!

Family time is so important to us. We cherish these moments. They go straight to the heart. Expanding our heart field even more. The best is when everyone gets along too :)

The chill doesn't stop us to get to our family.

Happy Humpday.

Love,
Val

20 Honest Questions The Person You Marry Should Be Able To Answer

I was inspired to write this blog because I saw a blog on http://elitedaily.com, Paul Hudson writes very candidly in regards to a men's point of view. However, I will write on behalf of both sexes from a spiritual point of view.

I am not married yet and never have been, but I am engaged to someone now and have been in several serious relationships that have almost become a marriage. To keep any relationship healthy, balanced and joyful is a task especially when you are extreamly close and live together. Yes, marriage does get a bad rap. However, like this guy Paul says, it's not marriage's fault it's the people who don't know how to communicate and manage the relationship.

Just because you both decided to get married does not mean you both have the same ideas of what your idea of marriage means.

So let me help you out and give you a list of 20 sizzling questions that you and your fiance' should be able to answer, candidly! This may avoid arguments, divorce, or an unfit marriage.

There are all kinds of marriages but here I speak to the marriage of the heart.

1. Why do you want to marry me?
This question sounds silly, but if this question can't be answered it's not a very good start. The answer should definitely include love and more qualities that come from the inside versus your appearance or social status, because the the non-inner qualities can diminish through the years.

2. What do you foresee in your future?
Some have no idea how to answer this question and others know exactly what they want out of life.  Even though this question can be answered as truthfully as possible you never know what curve balls life throws you. Therefore, it's good to see how you both react to the plans and the uncertainties of life.

3. How do you feel about divorce?
This can be answered in black and white. However, there is a grey area, because those who swear they don't want to divorce also get divorced. Some feel that when they have children it's a definite noway to divorce and others say whatever is best for the long term situation. Whatever it is it's good to hear this perspective even though it might not be written in stone.

4. Do you want children and if so, how many?
So many couples assume that they both want children and the same number of kids! Nope, this is definitely a discussion to be had. There should also be an understanding if there are any difficulties how you will deal with it. What will be your options? Most don't talk about this.

5. What are your feelings about living away from friends and family?
It's a new generation where so many of us move around and do whatever it takes to have a comfortable living situation. There are some people that will never leave their friends and family or even place of work for that matter and other's are explorers who like to take risks and enjoy adventure. This is a biggie in a marriage. Which one are you?  I knew a married couple who would only see each other on the weekends. She refused to leave her beloved New York City and he moved to an apartment in Washington DC for a better job. If this works for you, then OK! Bottom line, talk about it.

6. What kind of parent do you want to be?
This is a very forward question. Some of us just know we want to participate in the kids after school activities, be a soccer coach, teach the kids how to paint or dance. There are other's who just want to raise their child by supporting them financially and give them life lessons. There is a whole slew of parenting types and you both need to discover what type is your partner. Although, you don't really know until you are actually a parent, but again talking about it is a good way to lay the land with this one. You never know you may want a partner who's super involved because you had that growing up and well, your partner may not be up for that. This would be something to fight about everyday if that was the case.

7.  Is marriage sacred to you or you just see it as a social status?
Some will never admit that it is a social status but those who dare to tell at least honest. To see a marriage sacred comes from within. It hits core, like a deep resonance of deep connection to other. It's that simple.

8.  What is your thought on our finances…  Are we going “Dutch” 50/50? Are we sharing a bank account? Do you want a prenuptial agreement?
This is a biggie. No one likes to talk about this, but it's a must. If you can't be clear about this before you get married, trust that it will come up during the marriage.  Sometimes a woman has a great career and when she becomes a Mother wants to take a break from it. Not all Husbands are okay with this. This can be a deal breaker if it's not all out in the open.

9. What sort of boundaries will you change for the sake of our marriage?
No one ever talks about this I feel. You both need to understand what makes each other not comfortable when the other crosses a "boundary'. There are so many different types of boundaries; communicating with the opposite sex "inappropriately", limits on alcohol drinking, going out latenight with friends, Shopping, Gambling, ect. You know what I am talking about here.

10. Will you put me and your children first in all circumstances?
This should be a vow in all marriages. Most good partners feel that this is a no brainer and other's have no clue.

11. What do you consider the perfect marriage?
Everyone has a different ideal. It's good to know what your partner see's in his/her wall of dreams.

12. Can you continue to be intimate and physical with me?
This is a tricky question, if the person never had a long term relationship. However, everyone knows their true essence and how their fiance makes them feel.

13. Do you like who I am and appreciate my culture?
This is a pretty important question to agree on. If you can't see the beauty in your partners qualities and up bringing then it will never be a happy union.

14. Will you support me pursuing my passions?
This should be answered with love and compassion. Who doesn't want to be supported right?

15.  Can you promise to always heal our arguments before going to bed?
Ahhh so important! You should shake on this.

16. Do you like my Family and Friends?
Another tricky questions of which most tip-toe around. This should be answered with respect and understanding. Not everyone likes their future in-law or their partner's best-friend!

17. In what order do these things come in for you; Career, Money, Family, Fame, Friends, Hobbies, and Health?
This should be interesting! It's good if they are complimentary rather than exact match.

18. How important is sex to you and how often would you like to do it?
Ooooh.. you should be on the same wavelength on this one. If one or the other isn't being satisfied, it's an opening for an affair.

19. If I get sick will you be there for me?
Not everyone can answer this with a YES. Really think about this one.

20. What are your expectations of marriage?
This should be a nice list. Anyone who says I have no expectations just means, I am not completely surrendered to this relationship so it doesn't matter.

Good luck! Hopefully this will bring you together with clarity or split you up before you both invest your hearts into a marriage.

Love,
Val

Spiritual Baptism

We decided to have Anastasia Valeria baptized at our beautiful home on November 2012. I loved the idea to do it around nature and in a close family circle.  So, I set up an alter for Jesus Christ in our living room, adoring his photo and bringing him to life with flowers and fruits.

Part of our backyard, beautiful swans swimming around that day. Swans are very symbolic, they signify purity, transformations, union.

Setting up
I set up chairs and long benches for the family to witness the initiation into Christ-Consciousness.

Me when I was 3 months old, almost the exact same age as Anastasia during her baptism.

This is my dress from when I was baptized in October of 1979, Anastasia wore it for her 32 years later.

I made a program ...

~ Anastasia paying attention to what is going on

This is when Linda was reading and performing the ritual.

This picture is absolutely amazing. It was taken at exactly 1:11pm when Anastasia was Baptized into the Christ Energy by Linda & remotely by Abdy. As you see in this photo the manifestation of the Christ Energy coming through while Linda calls out to Jesus Christ to give her blessings.. The photographer took 3 photos at 1:11pm and this photo was the only one that had this magnificent bright luminous light come through upon Anastasia and all of us in the room as well. You can feel the divine light through this photo.

This is the ritual if you choose to do this with your child. I have edited/created my own version of which I connected to the Christ-Consciousness during this creation.

Ritual of Baptism for Linda Sieperman as priest.
Step 1: Prayer of Consecration/Initiation

Step 2: Blessing of the Oil

Step 3: Anointing the Person with Oil

PASS INTO THIS BODY THE CHRIST ENERGY.  BRING THIS CHILD INTO THE COSMIC CONSCIOUSNESS FOR ITS LIFE OF SERVICE. WITH THIS, I CONSECRATE THEE INTO THE CHRIST, ON THY MISSION IN EARTH, AND THOU ART TO BE NAMED “VALERIA” (pronouncing the spiritual name or middle name). IT SHALL BE KNOWN UNDER THE MANTLE OF LORD JESUS CHRIST, THE PRINCE OF PEACE AND LOVE, IN FREEDOM TO SEARCH FOR THYSELF WITHIN.

Step 6: Blessing of the Water

Step 7: Blessing of the Person with Water (touching the eyes)

OPEN THY PHYSICAL EYES TO THE SPIRITUAL WORLD AND LET THY SIGHT BE A HOLY ONE.

Step 8: Priest (touching the tongue)

GUARD THY TONGUE , THAT IT SPEAK ONLY TRUTH .

Step 9: Laying on of the Pendant

I GIVE UNTO THEE THIS SYMBOL, DIVINED FOR THE PURPOSE OF THY PROTECTION (AGAINST THE FORCES OF DARKNESS) IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MANDATE OF THE DIVINITY JESUS CHRIST FOR THE PREVENTION OF ALL THINGS COUNTER TO HIS TEACHINGS, BOTH SEEN AND UNSEEN.

I indeed Baptize you “Anastasia Valeria” with this holy water and oil and as you go on in life may the spirit of God descend like a dove and light the way for you that you will always be pure in heart, a peacemaker, and a child of God.

Amen.

Step 10: Reading of the 23rd Psalm

He lies me down in green pastures and leads me beside quiet waters. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.  Even though if I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.  You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life.
GODPARENTS then say:

UNTO THEE, THE GUARDIANS OF THIS SOUL, I GIVE THIS GUIDANCE.

Step 11: Blessing of the Holy Trinity

Step 12: Benediction (parents kneeling at the altar)

THANKS BE UNTO GOD FOR OF THIS SPECIAL CEREMONY THAT OUR DAUGHTER (full name of baby) HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE BLESSING OF THE MANIFESTATION OF THE GRACE THROUGH BEING ABLE TO BRING THIS SOUL TO CHRIST IN WITNESS OF HER GRANDPARENTS, AUNTS, UNCLES , COUSINS, FRIENDS AND GODPARENTS.  AMEN.
