Conscious Holiday Gift Ideas for Him

So many list going around to give people ideas what to get for other's. Well, here is my inspired Holiday Gift Idea list, and it's a conscious one.

1. Gift Certificate to high-end Barber - Even men love to be pampered, so I suggest you find a multi-serviced barber shop or your guy's favorite and get him a gift certificate to a cut, shave, manicure, and massage. If your local barber doesn't have all these options get him a voucher for a bunch of shaves. Make sure you support your local barber who uses good quality soaps and creams. Your man's skin is sensitive too. This can cost around $100-$500.

2. The Portrait - This is just as old fashioned as the barber shop idea, but I love it. What is great about this idea is that this gift becomes an heirloom to the family. You can do it two ways with the artist, you can give the artist a photo or you can have your guy sit-in for it with the artist. I suppose if you have him sit-in to pose for the artist you would have to give your man a little note saying "I got you a Portrait with Artist 'So-in-So'!". The portrait above is of my brother which is painted by my Aunt Rosalia who is an amazing artist, you can find her at  RosaliArt.com. This can cost around $1000.

3. A Glimmering Engraved Sapphire Ring - So, not every man likes jewelry, but a lot do wear wedding rings. This could be replaced with a necklace or a bracelet. Every man has a period of time that they are going through hard times according to Vedic Astrology. In the Indian culture, when you wear a stone or sapphire in honor of your planets that are suffering you can diminish the influence of the planets. You should first find a reputable astrologer. You can also look here; http://www.galacticcenter.org  and then when you are ready you can find a fine artisan to create your piece, and here is one on Etsy.  The other thing is, that you can also just get him a yellow sapphire ring which this stone symbolizes Jupiter and it empowers family. If you are local in the Tri-State Area I recommend Jay Carlin, a master engraver and jeweler. This could cost anywhere around $100-$3,000.

4.
Hard-Working Natural Facial Care - Waleda thinks that hard working men need facial care and so do I. Winters are harsh and our skin needs moisture, so why not get this for the man you love. I love Waleda products because the ingredients are all grown on a private organic local farm in Europe. Some of their products are miraculous. Just ask my father! This will cost around $20-$60.

5. Ride the Bicycle - This is a great idea if he is into fitness or not. This will help him stay fit and connect with the outdoors. It might even inspire him to get healthy all together, clean his diet, do yoga, lift weights, go running. Even in tight spaces you can find a spot for your bike. I love this idea also, because not only is it good for him, but it's good for the environment too! Above is a Devinci Bikes and here is where you can find them locally.  This could cost anywhere around $7,000-8,000 but you could always go with a less expensive bicycle.

6. Better Sleep in a Dream Leaf - Yes, you could get him better sleep. I found this product randomly and ever since I have been fascinated with it. This is a wave of conscious products on the market. This product naturally lengthens your REM sleep. It increases serotonin early in the night, causing a “REM rebound” later in your sleep cycle.  This is known to cause incredibly vivid, lucid dreams. Also, the neurotransmitter ACh later in the night, causing increased awareness and dream consciousness. It can dramatically increase dream recall, making it much easier to remember your dreams when you wake up.  It also promotes a healthy sleep cycle to help you feel rested in the morning.  To read more and purchase click on this link;  luciddreamleaf. This product is on sale for $34.

7. Warm feet in Snow boots - Why wouldn't you get him a new pair of Snow Boots. In the winter time it's good to have a few good pair floating around. I like to buy good quality boots and that usually involves leather. That is one thing I have a hard time finding, that long lasting shoes with comfort usually are made of animal skins unfortunately. The other option is to get him rubber boots. Whatever it is, make sure the are good quality so that his feet don't get wet and cold. This can cost around $70-$300.

8. Meditation Cushion for hOMe- Last year I gave my partner a sheeps skin rug, (which I am against) but that is what you meditate on when you practice Kriya yoga. Not every guy meditates, but you should tell your guy that Steve Jobs meditated to receive downloads of information and that is how he got the idea to create his products! If that doesn't push them to meditate then I don't know what will. As most people know that meditation is the equivalent of a week's worth of sleep. So encourage this guy to meditate, and give him the tool to make it easy. I like this Meditation Pillow because it's vegan friendly, and it's very comfortable. This product is on sale for $195.

9. Don't forget to Bringr- Every guy wants their electronics for the holiday. So, I have been a bit shy about announcing this *New product that my fiance' is working on. This is the most innovative idea out in the market to date which will change the way we function. Bringr is a technology set of which allows you to remember to bring your things before you drive away and helps you find your items if they are misplaced or lost. It's slick, it's unique and it works. Check out Bringr.com . What is excellent about this it saves a lot of time and headaches. It makes you feel that your stuff is safe, because it could never get lost. This product costs about $59.

10. Everyone loves iRing - This product is new to the market, our friend has just launched it on QVC and you can find iRings, on this link-  QVC. This product is one that you can't live without. I just love it. It's an attachment to your smart phone that allows you to hold, carry, and place the phone with ease with the ring attachment. I like this product especially because it allows you to not hold the phone, but rather hold it on the ring and this way you don't have to constantly get the negative waves from the wifi, ect.  Just watch the video on QVC. This product is on sale for $20.

Good luck with the gift finding, I hope to have inspired you somehow.
Happy Holidays! Love, Val
